Rabat - Renault Group has announced the appointment of Thibault Paland as the new Managing Director of Renault Commerce Morocco and Head of the Dacia Maroc, effective July 1, 2024.
This strategic move is part of Renault's ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership and expand its market presence in the region.
Martin Thomas, CEO of Mobilize Financial Services, made the announcement last week, highlighting Paland’s extensive experience and successful track record within the group, according to a statement from the company.
Born in 1972, Paland graduated from the prestigious Ecole Superieure de Gestion et Finances in France.
He began his career with Renault Group in 1997, working closely with DIAC teams. Over the years, he has held a variety of key positions, gaining valuable expertise in corporate sales and fleet management.
From 2001 to 2008, he served at Renault Parc Entreprises (R.P.E) in France, where he took on roles including Renault Key Accounts Director and Overlease Sales Director.
In 2008, Paland returned to DIAC, overseeing the Regional Division of the East Network and later Paris Ile-de-France.
By 2013, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Diac Location at R.P.E, coordinating the group's fleet and leasing business for three years.
Paland’s career continued to advance as he became Managing Director of RCI Benelux, a subsidiary of RCI Bank and Services, responsible for operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
In June 2018, he assumed the role of Managing Director of DIAC, which was rebranded as Mobilize Financial Services France in September 2022. Paland also joined the Executive Committee of Mobilize Financial Services group in December 2022.
