Morocco Announces Hajj Fees Payment Operation for 1446H Season

Rabat - The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has announced that payment for Hajj fees for the 1446H season will be processed through Barid Bank agencies across Morocco from September 2 to September 20 this year.

Certified checks will be accepted during this period, according to a statement released today.

Citizens selected via the official lottery for this year’s pilgrimage will need to pay an approximate amount of MAD 65,000 ($6,500).

This amount is subject to adjustment, either upward or downward, the statement added.

The ministry urges those concerned to personally visit Barid Bank agencies with their national identity card andDuring the Hajj season of 1445, pilgrims spent MAD 66,865 ($6,729).

In addition, the Saudi healthcare system declared its readiness to cater to pilgrims, detailing comprehensive preparations across Mecca, Medina, and various holy sites.

Hospitals, health centers, and mobile clinics were equipped with advanced technologies to deliver optimal care.

The Saudi Ministry of Health reported that over 32,000 medical and administrative staff, including more than 5,000 doctors across various specialties, were deployed to ensure continuous healthcare and emergency response at 183 medical facilities.

These facilities included 32 hospitals, 151 health centers, and 6 mobile clinics, all boasting the latest medical technologies to provide immediate and effective care.

They had a combined capacity of over 6,400 beds, covering intensive care, emergency, and isolation needs.

During that season, 34,000 Moroccan pilgrims participated, with 22,500 under the supervision of the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs and 11,500 traveling with independent agencies.

A support team of 738 individuals, comprising administrators, ulemas (Islamic scholars), medical practitioners, and media personnel—including 520 supervisors—was assigned to assist and guide the pilgrims throughout their Hajj rituals. selection certificate.
